We provide high-quality early childhood education and care for children aged 1.5 to 6 years, operating Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm in the heart of Armidale, in the New England region of NSW.

Established in 1973, Hobbit has proudly served the Armidale community for over five decades. Founded to meet the growing need for extended early learning options for local families, the centre has evolved while remaining grounded in its strong community values.

Today, Hobbit continues to be a trusted and well-established preschool, welcoming families from diverse cultural backgrounds and celebrating the richness this brings to our learning environment. Our long-standing presence reflects our commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging foundation for every child’s early years.
